Lost Bones: In Search of Sitting Bull's Grave has won a 2009 Hugo Award, Gold Plaque, in the Documentary: History/Biography category. The documentary competed against a long list of entries from the US and around the world. Micro Bus Pictures produced the HD documentary for The Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) and it is scheduled to appear on APTN in the fall of 2009.
Lost Bones explores the extraordinary life of famed Lakota leader Sitting Bull and reveals a secret that is over 100 years old. The documentary features interviews with Sitting Bull's only living great grandson Ernie Lapointe as well as Standing Rock Sioux Agency Chairman Ron His Horse Is Thunder. Watch the trailer HERE!
