SITTING BULL BURIED IN MANITOBA, NEW DOCUMENTARY EXPLORES

John Barnard's award-winning documentary Lost Bones: In Search Of Sitting Bull's Grave has its World Premiere scheduled for September 9, 2009 on The Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN).  The film follows the story of Sitting Bull, warrior and spiritual leader of the Hunkpapa Sioux, detailing his life, death, and many reburials.  It specifically explores a 100 year old secret that says Turtle Mountain, Manitoba, Canada is Sitting Bull's final burial place.

Earlier this year, Lost Bones won a 2009 Hugo Television Award, Gold Plaque, in the History/Biography category.  The Hugo Awards are part of the illustrious Chicago International Film Festival, this year celebrating its 45th anniversary.
