Our Lost Words At Eugene Language Symposium

Angela Wanderingspirit is filming her documentary Our Lost Words, formerly known as Wondering Spirit, at the 17th annual Stabilizing Indigenous Languages Symposium in Eugene, Oregon. The Symposium which is a joint venture between The University of Oregon and the Northwest Indian Language Institute runs from June 25th - 27th, 2010. This year's symposium focuses on the topic of language and place.

Our Lost Words explores director Angela Wanderingspirit's personal story about language and place while examining lost languages in a larger scope.

The documentary is scheduled to air on The Aboriginal Peoples Television Network in 2011.
